Amport and District Coaches of Weyhill near Andover has taken delivery of a PSVAR compliant Irizar i6S Efficient integral, supplied by Irizar UK.

It is a 12.9m long example that carries 53 passengers. Three-point belts, USB charging points, magazine nets, footrests and drop-down tables are part of the specification along with a centre sunken toilet, audio/visual entertainment with two monitors, and a drinks machine supplied and fitted by AD Coach Systems.

Accessibility comes thanks to a Masats lift immediately behind the front axle. It is complemented by Hanover destination displays, while the driver benefits from a rear-view camera system in lieu of traditional mirrors.

The coach is powered by the DAF MX-11 engine developing 408bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
